alameen Soft was established in 1992 by a group of engineers who took it upon themselves to develop the first Arabic accounting and warehouse management software operating under the Windows operating system.
The first version of the software was released in 1994 and commercially distributed in 1995 under the name “alameen 3.1”. It was officially the very first accounting software with Windows and network capabilities to hit the market.
Subsequently, alameen Soft began developing a version tailored to the requirements of international companies. This included managing post-dated checks, introducing an English user interface, and enhancing multi-currency support. This was in addition to upgrading the software’s reporting system, streamlining general operations, and adding customizable options for invoices and vouchers. Released under the name “alameen 97”, this version was first distributed in Lebanon, followed by Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and most other Arab nations. Consequently, it became the leading accounting software in terms of quality, support, development speed, comprehensiveness, and performance.
With the release of “alameen 2002”, the software migrated to the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database and added support for modern Microsoft operating systems like Windows 2000 and Windows XP. This enabled the system to efficiently handle massive volumes of data and support a large number of concurrent users.
The current version, “alameen ERP”, features a comprehensive suite of fully integrated and interconnected modules, including Point of Sale (POS), Restaurants, Hospitals, Orders, Distribution, Marketing, Fixed Assets, Money Transfers, Shipping Companies, and Auto Repair Shops. It also supports automated or manual data import and export capabilities, alongside generating advanced analytical and statistical reports.
